Frequently asked questions.

How is a brokered deal structured in ReSpark?

As a linked purchase order and sales order pair, so a single deal is entered once and traced end to end from deal through shipment to settlement instead of being double-entered as unrelated tickets.

Can we keep our supplier and buyer from seeing each other?

Yes. Blind shipment support controls which party identities appear on printed and generated documents, which is the whole point of the trade for most brokers.

How are commissions and margin tracked?

Per deal. Margin is calculated across the linked buy and sell sides, and commissions are recorded against the deal rather than reconstructed later from invoices.

Does brokered material distort our inventory and margin reports?

No. Brokered volume never enters your physical inventory, and reports containing both brokered and non-brokered activity exclude the brokerage portion without dropping the rest of the row.

Can we attach our brokerage terms to documents?

Yes. Brokerage terms and conditions — or a disclaimer with a link — can be attached so they print on the brokerage PO.
