Four Steps to Live Operations

Four steps from signed contract to live operations. Most teams are fully operational inside 30 days.

1

Kick-Off Call

We align on your timeline, your hardware, and your priorities. You walk away knowing exactly what to expect.

2

Data Upload + Workflow Config

Send us your customer list, commodity data, and price sheets. We upload everything, configure your workflows, and build your environment.

3

Hardware Setup + Training

We connect your scales, cameras, printers, and scanners. Then we train your team with role-based sessions tailored to how your yard actually runs.

4

Go Live

Your ReSpark environment is live. Our team is standing by for real-time support during your first days of operation.

The Backbone of Enterprise Onboarding

Three phases of upfront work that dictate the success of the entire project. We answer the hard questions early and leave nothing to chance at go-live.

Phase 1

Centralized Foundation

All foundational data is ingested and validated before anything else moves. Customers, commodities, containers, locations, price lists, contracts. Hardware and peripherals are scoped and validated for every site. Roles and permissions are mapped. Accounting integrations are configured and tested.

This becomes a sandbox environment your team can use for testing and validation before training begins. Training on your own data is significantly more effective than demo environments.
Phase 2

Functional Workflow Sessions

Structured sessions across four functions: Commercial, Operations, Logistics, and Finance. We break these out further based on how your organization is structured. Brokerage, exports, e-scrap, and demolition projects can each get dedicated sessions.

Guided by ReSpark's workflow questionnaire, these are not open-ended process mapping marathons. Typically 2 to 3 sessions per function.
Phase 3

SOP Creation and Delivery

We draft standard operating procedures for your entire organization built around ReSpark workflows. Every SOP defines the sequence of work for each role: who does what, when, and in what system.

SOPs are role-based, not person-based. Every functional leader reviews and signs off before training begins. This sign-off is our green light for training, and it is the single most important milestone in the entire process.

Rollout Methodology

A structured, cohort-based approach that creates a repeatable and scalable go-live motion across your entire network.

1

Start with the right yards.

Not the smallest. Not the flagship. We select locations with strong leaders, meaningful complexity, and enough volume to stress-test every workflow.

2

Launch in cohorts of 2 to 3 sites.

Launching in groups generates more representative feedback, prevents bias from a single operator, and signals to the broader organization that this is real.

3

Follow the material.

We map the rollout to minimize disruption from intercompany activity. Hub-and-spoke operations roll out together whenever possible.

4

Onsite presence for go-live.

ReSpark team members are onsite for cohort launches. Typically 3 to 4 people. Later cohorts at simpler retail yards may be handled virtually once the methodology is proven.

5

We hold the standard.

If data is incomplete, training is skipped, or hardware is not validated, we will tell you that you are not ready. We would rather delay a go-live than risk a failed launch.
